Triathlon Coaching


As a part of the TCMTriSquad, you have the option of receiving personalized, online triathlon coaching to guide your training and help you achieve your triathlon or endurance goals. 


We believe our coaching works best in a supportive community environment so you must first be a TCMTriSquad member to access this service. Learn more about joining as a member here.

We offer one level of coaching to the athletes we take on, unlike other coaching services. We make ourselves available to answer training questions and/or make changes to your schedule when you need it. 

Our Philosophy

Our coaches are focused on discovering the truth of how and what will help athletic performance, based on the unique needs of each athlete.

How it works

After joining as a TCMTriSquad member, you will have an introductory call with head coach Martin Spierings. According to your needs and preferences, you are then matched with one of our 4 coaches (see below), who becomes your primary coach.

After establishing your athletic background, your coach plans a training regimen according to your racing goals. Week-by-week training schedules are delivered via the online platform Training Peaks. This frequency allows us to tailor your training as your body adapts and take into consideration your personal life, fitness level and resources.

As a member, you will also have access to private forums with all four coaches and the other triathletes we're coaching. This provides a supportive online community to help motivate, communicate information and also keep things fun.


We work with all levels of starting fitness and experience, from complete beginners to elite athletes. We coach people living in any world location but you must be able to commit to a minimum of 6 hours of training per week (exceptions for injury, illness and unexpected circumstances apply).

You can expect:

  • Weekly custom training plan on Training Peaks platform each week, tailored to your availability, goals and schedule.

  • Unlimited feedback and guidance from your coach on training and diet, equipment, race calendar planning and psychology.
