Why triathlon?

"Swimming and running are two of my most favorite things to do! Cycling is up there, too. Workouts give me such a welcome blend of joy, calm, and focus. When I am training regularly, I am a better partner, parent, and teacher. I am grateful to my mom for modeling a healthy pursuit of competitive sports throughout her lifetime even now into her 70's. I hope to demonstrate that same passion and commitment for my own children."
