Why triathlon?

"Originally, I joined this sport because I wanted to continue my swim career while also incorporating running into my schedule. I gained a liking for running when I did cross country for a couple years and decided that I wanted to do both swimming and running; I thought that I might as well just add cycling to make it a triathlon. I also like to scrapbook in my free time which has influenced my triathlon Instagram page (shameless plug: @leilani_fonua_tri). Currently, I’m a high school student and I make sure to juggle all of my hobbies while keeping good grades." - Leilani
